IMPORTANT DISPATCH INFORMATION AND DEADLINES

Dispatch Cut Off

The deadline for orders being dispatched the same day is 2pm.

Orders received after 2pm will be dispatched the next working day.

All times quoted refer to normal working days (Monday – Friday) excluding Bank Holidays and National Holidays (Please check our website for special arrangements during the Christmas/New Year Period)

If you have an urgent requirement for delivery at the weekend or it is after our 2pm cut-off, please call us on 03300 883 890. We will do everything possible to meet your special requirements.

Length of Dispatch within the UK

All products on our website clearly show the maximum time for standard delivery. This appears on the top left of every product image and above the product price on the right pf the product image.

For instance, a product that has ‘1-2 working days’ on the product image and above the price will take up to 2 working days to arrive from dispatch by our standard delivery.

For special delivery, the dispatch time is usually next working day before mid-day.

You can select a standard or special delivery (if available) when you pay for your items at the online shop checkout.

 Exceptions

Exceptions to our standard and special delivery dispatch times are as follows:

  • Only standard delivery is offered for dispatch to The Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and UK islands including all Scottish islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of White and Channel Islands.

  • Long items, such as barrier arms and door finger guards, need to be sent by special courier. The delivery times for these are shown on the relevant product pages and the cost of delivery is shown separately at checkout.

  • Aluminium gates have a fixed dispatch rate of £150 per gate. All aluminium gates ordered from our stock gates range take up to 10 working days for delivery. Delivery times for made-to-measure aluminium gates are quoted during the ordering process.

Couriers

As our deliveries are sub-contracted to third party couriers, we are unable able to specify an exact delivery time.

Due to the high value of our goods, our carriers are instructed to obtain a signature of receipt. This means that someone should be at your delivery address to receive the goods.

Please check for damage to the outside of the packaging before accepting any delivered goods.

If the packaging is damaged, please check that there is no damage to the contents before signing for your delivery.

Once a delivery is signed for, the courier will not accept responsibility for any reported damage.

If there is nobody available to receive the delivery at your stated delivery address, the courier will usually leave a card for you to organise your own collection from your local depot.

If you are not available to sign for your delivery and request a re-delivery, the courier will charge to do this. The cost of each re-delivery will be a minimum of £9.99 +VAT or 50% of the delivery charge +VAT you select (standard or special) - whichever is higher.

Strict enforcement of this delivery policy helps us to keep our delivery charges to a minimum for most of our customers.

Please refer to our terms and conditions.
